New Classrooms for School/Orphanage

Two new classrooms are under construction because of the way you have stood with us.  This means more children will be rescued, helped, and lifted!

Liberty School, in Bikeke, Kenya, is moving forward with the next phase of construction.  There have been challenges such as contractors trying to change their bids and the bore hole running out of water when needed for making bricks.  But the tenacious, committed director and staff, along with many volunteers, have persevered.  As of this writing, the roof is beginning to take shape on the newest classrooms.

This school provides a quality education to many while purposefully rescuing some of the most desperate orphans and others who live without hope.  By providing a good education, nutritious food, and basic medical care, each child has the potential to step out of poverty and build a sustainable future.

More information on sponsoring a child can be found here.

Here is one example of the difference this school is able to make:

Two brothers, young boys, were living on the streets in Kenya.  One was given the opportunity to get off the streets and receive an education.  His life was transformed.  Today, he is a teacher at Liberty school where he helps rescue other children who have been orphaned or abandoned.  The other brother… will likely only be alive a few more years as the drugs and hard street-living have taken their toll.  The education and nutrition you help us offer in Bikeke is changing children’s lives!
