Muslim Woman's Life Changes

From the team leader in Western Kenya:

We thank God for what he have seen in one woman's life.  This woman was brought up with a Muslim background.  So she only understood her own religion and refused to listen to any Christian.

But because she lived near one of our disciples, she started getting interested in what we were doing and found that we would listen to her share some of the things she was struggling with.  She asked us to join her mosque, but we told her that the mosque is not the solution.  ‘Let’s just love one another and keep getting to know each other.’  So she kept spending time with us and asking questions about Christianity.  She commented that, perhaps, one day we might convince her to get saved.

Over time, she would come and just listen to us share the word with one another and was amazed that she could ask questions.   We did not, in any way, try to force her.  We wanted to reach to her with love and how Christianity is something good.

So one day she came in one of the meetings and said that she feels that she wanted to be saved but she has some challenges.  She confessed that she has not received any help, spiritually or physically, from her Islamic faith.  So, she thought it could be better if she receives Christ.

So I told her we too we have challenges but it's just because of God’s grace that we are Christians.  We told her that among us are many widows who have given their lives to Jesus and they are doing well, so she had nothing to fear.  So, she got saved and now she is a real Christian; not just Christian but also a disciple and we are hoping that she will reach to her friends in the Islamic faith.  We are praying that God gives her energy to reach to other people.

God bless you and thank you for all who support this work!
