Regardless of how you feel about this, it highlights the reality of a harsh world and a very real evil that we often avoid looking at.
Fortunately, you are part of a long-range solution that Jesus initiated to overcome evil with good by seeing His Kingdom come, in real and tangible ways, to a harsh and needy world.
Being in Africa always reminds me of these harsh realities: there are children that aren’t being fed that can be, women who are not receiving the medical treatment that is available in other parts of the world, disabled people who are ignored or forgotten. This would all feel overwhelming if it were not for Jesus’ promise that we could bring His Kingdom to earth by joining together, just as you are doing with us, to bring His love, care, and healing to those that need it most.
Thank you so much for not avoiding the harsh realities and being part of His solutions to the pain of this world.
